Cephalogod is offering:

Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of the listed groups (See full list.)

Type of fanwork: Written fanwork
Subtype(s): fan fiction (new)
Fandom(s): DC: Batman, DC Comics
Highest rating: M
Minimum Bid: $5
Audience: All ages
Length/scope: Less than 5k words
Special interests (what is this?): Gen (no ship) or platonic works

Characters/pairings of interest:
Steph and Damian are my forever favorites, and I love writing Tim and Dick's relationship as brothers, but I love many, many characters and combinations, so I'm definitely open to other things as well!

Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
My usual preference is mostly Batkid genfic and mostly on the lighter side. Banter, humor, sibling shenanigans; mild to moderate hurt/comfort also possible. My characterization is usually roughly preboot-canon-adjacent, with a few reboot elements (e.g. characters like Duke, Harper, etc.). Anything from canon-ish setting to total AU, including minor or major canon divergence up to full setting/genre shift. (Full canon compliance and fandom fusion are a "maybe" depending on what the canon/fandom is, but feel free to ask!)

Unwilling to address:
Most shipping and related elements; possibly willing to include background romantic relationships depending on the characters and circumstances. (No Batcest) Kink and/or sexual content. Dub/noncon including implied. AUs with elements of slavery or omegaverse. Hurt No Comfort or unhappy ending, heavy angst or whump, toxic/abusive family dynamics, major character death, basically nothing that needs an archive warning.

Other notes:
Most of my writing is Batkid-focused, but I do read DC beyond that and I'm broadly familiar with the post-crisis DCU (and very familiar with some specific non-Bat pockets), so if there's a particular chunk of canon in terms of characters/setting that you have in mind (or just in general if you have an idea and want to see if it's a good fit) feel free to ask!

Cephalogod is offering:

Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of the listed groups (See full list.)

Type of fanwork: Other Digital Fanwork
Fandom(s): DC: DC Comics; Marvel: Marvel Comics
Highest rating: M
Minimum Bid: $20
Audience: All ages
Length/scope: One additional character per each $10 above initial bid (with some flexibility for characters with a low number of total appearances)

Fanwork Details:
If you're a comic fan who has ever wanted a way to see what issues BOTH (or more!) of your favorite characters have appeared in, I've got you covered! I will build you a character appearance spreadsheet (see Google Sheets link for my Batfam example) for any two (or more!) characters of your choice, listing all of their canon appearances for a given universe with information including: title, issue number, issue date, what kind of appearance it is (major, minor, flashback, etc), and if applicable what identity they are in (e.g. Dick Grayson as Robin vs Dick Grayson as Nightwing). The spreadsheet also has conditional formatting on a "Read" column to block out a row in green if you mark it "Y", a widget at the top to tell you how many issues there are and what percent you've read, and what collected volume/s the issue appears in if applicable. All information is filterable and sortable to see exactly what you're looking for!

Unwilling to address:
none

Other notes:
For purposes of this auction, a single character includes all appearances of that character for a chosen universe; other versions of the character from other universes count as a separate character (unless there's only a few appearances, then they can get lumped in!). Also, a disclaimer: I have not read and memorized every issue of every comic ever published. I build these spreadsheets by referencing various databases and wikis, but I do my very best to make sure everything is accurate to the information available! If you have any specific questions about functionality or characters you would like to use please feel free to ask!
