For TLT: Blood of Eden, as previously mentioned. In-universe religion. House cultures.

These are preferences, and I'm more than willing to do things outside of them!

Unwilling to address:
I can't do anything that requires elaborate sound editing or multiple voices unless you are volunteering to be the other voice (in which case, let's go!). Also not interested in writing/performing "parody" songs that are just an already existing song with a few words changed. No AUs.

For The Locked Tomb: I'm not really interested in saying nice things about John.

For The Murderbot Diaries: I don't want to do romantic stuff with named canon characters. Ocs or generic, in-universe love songs are fine.

Other notes:
My genre comfort zone is folk, country, and maybe blues or /very/ soft rock/pop. I'm okay with writing new words to existing tunes, but you should probably reach out before you bid to make sure it's one I'm able/willing to mess around with.

I haven't written a song with another person before, so I don't know exactly what the process will be! At the very least I'd like to be able to bounce ideas back and forth, especially because both these series have some vague worldbuilding with a lot of fanon built up. I'd like to make sure we're on the same page.

Some filk structures that can be fun (these are just examples): pick a particular moment/turning point in canon, foreshadow the heck out of what comes next (...this describes a surprising number of my filks lol, I guess I like what I like); song that could exist in-universe (whether directly mentioned or just something a storyteller/bard could plausibly sing...well, if you ignore any anachronisms or the like pertaining to music choice); song a character would sing if they were in a musical (imagine suddenly the action pauses and they're now monologue-singing about how they're feeling in this moment)

Some of the following might not come up in a filk, but if the prompt for the filk is a fic to read, I'd prefer it not contain the following: Character bashing; pervasive slow-rising dread that builds forever (particularly if it seems like a character's bad choices will result in tragedy for themselves); psychological horror; misogyny (or similar, e.g. oppression of omegas in an omegaverse fic) as a major theme

When using a fic as a prompt, I'm fine with any (or no) rating for the fic. If it's longer than 80k or so, though, please contact me ahead of time to make sure I'm able to commit the time to read it!

Other notes:
Prompts: I'm pretty flexible on what style of prompt I'm willing to work with! Maybe you have a pairing and an AU idea, or a character and a specific point in canon (whether divergent or not), or a playlist of songs to pick from and a list of characters/tropes you're interested in! If you'd like a filk inspired by a specific fanwork (maybe you're a podficcer and need the perfect song to go with your podfic??), I can do that too! If the prompt is too specific (for example song & themes/tropes & pairing) I might struggle to fit everything in, but I'd be happy to brainstorm alternatives with you if I get stuck!

My vocal range is alto-ish (I don't have a deep voice but can't go crazy high either). Songwise, if you have a strong idea of what you want (for example, a specific song to rework, or a particular artist), please check out the link to my existing filks or contact me to get a sense of whether it's within my vocal range and singing capabilities! Additionally, just as an FYI, more well-known songs are more likely to have a backing track available for me to use. You're not required to have a particular song or artist in mind, though, I'm happy to try to find something we both think is neat myself!
