For this auction, I am offering a custom America Overnight
radio show episode script. This will NOT be a traditional fanfiction
piece written in prose style. This script can feature characters from
either Alan Wake or Control (2019), original characters, or some blend
of all three. I would be working with you to create an in-universe
story which can either be based on your own scary and/or supernatural
experience, something you’ve made up, or real life urban
legends/cryptids/myths etc. This fanwork’s word count will range from
500 to 2000 words, depending upon the subject matter and flow of the
conversation between the host and caller.
If the winning bid is OVER $30, I will create an additional voice acted recording/podfic to go along with the script. This recording will be uploaded to my YouTube channel and will feature the audio America Overnight bumpers heard in the Control (2019) game.
Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
I enjoy creating America Overnight episodes based on real
world strange occurrences, cryptids, myths, and legends. I have
previously based caller stories on supernatural experiences of friends
(while changing names/locations to protect privacy). I love America
Overnight and would love to create some new episodes in the radio
show’s collection!
Unwilling to address:
I will not write a script featuring the following subjects:
rape, dub-con, incest, underage sex, gratuitous violence against
children or animals. This script’s content rating will be similar to
that of Alan Wake and Control (2019). I prefer to keep the horror of
my scripts ambiguous or open to interpretation.
Other notes:
I will work closely with you to create a script which
captures the themes of your idea via Discord or BlueSky. The more
detail you can provide about your request, the better. I want to
create a custom episode you’ll love!
