Annapods is offering:

Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of the listed groups (See full list.)

Type of fanwork: Fan art
Subtype(s): Podfic/album cover art
Fandom(s): Any
Highest rating: E
Minimum Bid: $20
Audience: All ages
Length/scope: 20$ per cover, up to 3

Fanwork Details:
Hi! I'm offering to create some cover art. It's usually a square image featuring some graphics (usually, from canon or licenced for non commercial use pictures) and text information about the contents. It can be pretty simple (mostly focused on picking a fitting font and making the colors work together) or more labor intensive (vector illustrations, complicated typography, cutting and assembling several pictures, etc). You are guaranteed at least the simpler version. You can check out my tumblr for some examples of cover art I did for my own podfics.

If you'd like some other type of graphics that my skillset covers, please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss it! This can be book covers, banners and icons for a challenge, putting together a mini zine, ...

Characters/pairings of interest:
I'm open to anything! Please keep in mind that I don't usually draw, or at least not characters, so I'm going to be limited by the pictures available, but you can absolutely throw a text-only fandom at me and I'll figure something out. I might ask you if you have facecasts for characters, or favorite pictures of them, or any details that I should know for matching the story, like for example if I can use pictures of an actor but only with long hair.

Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
In general, I like it when there are strong visual elements I can latch on to. This can be objects, settings, or graphic chart elements. I also like playing around with mockups: fake posters, product ads, train tickets, ... anything like that can usually be done with vector graphics and fonts, without actually drawing anything by hand, and look very good.

Unwilling to address:
I don't think so? I'm not planning on reading the text in details/listening to the whole podfic.

Other notes:
I'm open to directions and feedback! Let me know what works best for you, but I could for example send you a few questions at the start to determine what you want, then come back to you with a first version, and we could iterate from there. On the opposite end of the collaborative scale, you could also just send me the link to the text and let me figure it out.

Auctions run from 8:00AM EST, 25 February 2025, to 8:00PM EST, 1 March 2025. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be counted. If you would like to bid on this auction:

Step 1: Check the bidding spreadsheet to find out what the current high bid is. (Note: It may take up to five minutes for a bid to appear.)

Step 2: Fill out the creator's bidding form with a bid that is higher than the current high bid. If you want to make it harder for someone to outbid you, bid higher! We will NOT notify you if someone outbids you. FTH will only notify you if you are the high bidder after the auctions end.

Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of the listed groups (See full list.)

Type of fanwork: Podfic
Fandom(s): Any
Highest rating: E
Minimum Bid: $15
Audience: All ages
Length/scope: Less than 1k words
Special interests (what is this?): Aro/ace characters, Gen (no ship) or platonic works, Poly ships, Rarepairs

Characters/pairings of interest:
This is my "almost anything goes" offer for a ~1k podfic, so go for it! If I'm unfamiliar with the fandom, I might ask you for pronunciation help. This can be a link to a youtube video where they pronounce the name, an IPA version, or something else.

Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
Please don't feel limited by this list! But personnally, I'm particularly interested in weird/non-traditional formats (although I don't think I'll have the time to do much post-prod editing, so I can't promise anything in terms of sound effects), (queer) platonic affection and commitment and canon divergence and exploration. If you'd like, you can find more details in my last exchange letter at https://annapods.dreamwidth.org/37113.html

Unwilling to address:
If the work you'd like me to record hits one of these, please contact me to discuss it before bidding.

Apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic settings, dystopias. Psychological violence, internal pov of bigotted or cruel characters. Dub/noncon. Unhappy endings. Incest. Underage sex, depending on the context.

Other notes:
Hi! I'm Anna, looking forward to working with you! There are two things you need to know if you're planning on bidding on my offer. First, I'm going to ask you to get permission to podfic from the writer. If they have a blanket permission statement, or if the writer is you, then we're good, but otherwise, you'll have to contact them. Second, my method of podficcing is usually pretty once-and-done, not much fancy editing. This means that there might be some pronunciation errors (I'm not a native English speaker) or mouth clicks or whatever. That doesn't mean I don't try my best! Just that if you want a more collaborative experience, where the podficcer incorporates your feedback, I might not be the right match for you.
