Hua Cheng/Xia Lian (Others can be minor, but this must be main pairing; there can also be Hua Cheng/Others or Xia Lian/Others as long as it's before they get together)

Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
Angst with a happy ending, hurt/comfort, vampires, mafia, modern or canon setting, different first (or 2nd or 3rd) meeting, Ghost City setting, time travel - but I like a LOT of different stories and settings, so these are just preferences off the top of my head.

Unwilling to address:
1st person POV, pedophilia, incest, scat, multiple POVs (2-3 is okay), unhappy or ambiguous ending, underage, non-con between Hualian (dub-con or cnc is fine).

Other notes:
I don't have a completely hard word cap on 50K, but check with me in advance for fics over 50K (nothing too far over that, though - up to 75K is okay, and even a bit more if I love the fic). I'd like to choose from a couple or three fics, since my reading style goes well with certain writing styles, so a list of 2-3 options (not from same author) would be great. I'm a collaborative artist by nature so we can talk through them; I'd love to hear bidder's thoughts on the fic and why they love it and would like to hear it in podfic form. I'm confident, though, in my story and character analysis and performance skills, so I can also interpret without communication apart from the fic titles.

If you pick a fic by an author who does not offer blanket permission, or who you have not already gotten permission from beforehand, I will contact them to ask, but cannot guarantee they will say yes. If I have not heard from them within 2 weeks of my contact, we will move to a different fic.

Auctions run from 8:00AM EST, 25 February 2025, to 8:00PM EST, 1 March 2025. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be counted. If you would like to bid on this auction:
