her_ladyships_soap is offering:
Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of the listed groups (See full list.)
Type of fanwork: Written fanwork
Subtype(s): fan
fiction (new)
Fandom(s): Sherlock Holmes: BBC Sherlock;
Downton Abbey; Grantchester (TV)
Highest rating:
E
Minimum Bid: $5
Audience: All
ages
Length/scope: 5 -10k words
Special
interests (what is this?): Ambiguous endings, F/F ships,
Genderswap/genderbending, Rarepairs, Trans or nonbinary
interpretations of canon characters, Unhappy endings
Characters/pairings of interest:
For Sherlock: Mycroft Holmes/Greg Lestrade, Sally
Donovan/Anthea. I will write background Johnlock, but I prefer not to
focus on them.
For Downton Abbey: Thomas Barrow/Guy Dexter, Thomas Barrow/Edward Courtenay, any canon relationship. I'm particularly fond of Daisy at the moment.
For Grantchester: Leonard Finch/Daniel Marlowe or anything at all focusing on Cathy Keating.
Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
I love AUs (for Sherlock pairings; not for other fandoms)
and would be very excited about something with magic, but it's not a
requirement at all.
Unwilling to address:
Graphic sexual violence / non-consensual sex (though
recovery fics are okay), domestic violence, cheating, polyamory,
threesomes, heavy BDSM, pain-related kinks, A/B/O (alpha/beta/omega)
dynamics. I am open to darkfic, which may cross some of these lines,
but we'd need to talk in depth prior to bidding!
Other notes:
I enjoy both fluffy meet-cutes and angsty, action-heavy
whump pieces. I love AUs of pretty much any kind, especially if
they're on the unusual side. Open to some fandom crossovers; please
message me and ask if you've got something specific in mind before
bidding.
I've set the word count quite low this year just in case, but don't let that scare you off if you've got a big idea! I tend to write over the word limit/estimate and am happy to get a little creative to make sure I fill FTH requirements and give your prompt due time/space. I love collaborating with my bidder at all stages and I'm very happy to have a lot or just a little input prompt-wise! I like to update my prompters every so often as I work. I am often a little on the chatty side and write long excited emails, lol.
Auctions run from 8:00AM EST, 25 February 2025, to 8:00PM EST, 1 March 2025. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be counted. If you would like to bid on this auction:
Step 1: Check the bidding spreadsheet to find out what the current high bid is. (Note: It may take up to five minutes for a bid to appear.)
Step 2: Fill out the creator's bidding form with a bid that is higher than the current high bid. If you want to make it harder for someone to outbid you, bid higher! We will NOT notify you if someone outbids you. FTH will only notify you if you are the high bidder after the auctions end.
