Fanwork Details:
As a beta, I am offering feedback on SPaG (spelling and grammar), characterization, dialogue, alpha reading, cheerleading, and brainstorming for plot development.

Relevant experience/background:
I've been a beta for years for friends, and as a writer myself, I have a passion for the editing phase of writing and find it fun. I would say that I'm casual in the sense I've never beta'd for money or have had an editing job, but I always give my all!

Additional notes about labor offered:
I would prefer to beta a complete work/fic, but am also willing to beta incomplete works and then brainstorm/cheerlead you through to writing the end, and then beta the final product.

Characters/pairings of interest:
For Legend of Zelda fandom, I am ONLY willing to beta Link/Zelda.
For FFXIV, my preference/interest is in Emet-Selch/WoL and/or Hades/Azem.
For BG3, my preference/interest is in Tav/Main Party Characters (so Shadowheart, Astarion, Karlach, Wyll, Gale, etc.)
For Kingdom Hearts, I am mainly interested in Sora/Riku and Axel/Roxas, but I'm also okay with any KH characters from KH1, CoM, 365/2 Days, KH2, BBS, DDD, and KH3.

Subjects/theme/tropes of interest:
I'm mostly interested in romance with a happy ending pieces. Other themes/tropes I love are: f/f, m/m, bi4bi, canon divergence, canon compliant, fantasy au's, soul mate tropes, hurt/comfort, angst with a happy ending, canon non-binary or trans characters, interpretations of non-binary/trans character, character studies.

Unwilling to address:
In general, I am not willing to beta: Major Character Death, Suicide (unless it is a past event that was unsuccessful), Torture (physical or psychological), Rape/non-con (unless it is consensual non-consent!), break-ups, non-happy endings, whump, pedophilia, extremely toxic relationships (as in, some problematic things are fine as long as they aren't deadly or psychological torture levels of extreme), pet play, watersports/urophilia, coprophilia/coprophagia.

For LoZ: I will NOT beta for OC/Link, OC/Zelda, or any ship that involves Link or Zelda with a different character (i.e., no Sidon/Link, Mipha/Link, Zelda/Court Poet, etc).

For Kingdom Hearts, I will NOT beta for a Sora/Kairi, Sora/OC, Riku/OC fanfic. Like above, for the characters Sora and Riku, I will only beta for works that are Sora/Riku.

Other notes:
My favorite way to beta a fic is to either put in red my suggested changes & comments, or to use Google Docs for edits/comments. Be reassured that any critiques I give will be said kindly! I also fangirl over fic so some comments will be cheerleading and 'keep this beautiful prose/statement/etc!'. In my mind, being a good beta means treating the work and writer with respect and like a beloved friend. As I mentioned earlier, I would prefer to beta a complete work, but am also willing to be there for the entire writing process (bonus points if your fic is for FTH).

If you'd like me to beta a BG3 Tav or FFXIV WoL piece, I will need details regarding your Tav/WoL/OC. Please have a character sheet and some information about your OCs/setting/plot ready for me, because I WILL have questions I need answers to in order to give better suggestions. Unless of course the work itself is said backstory/plot.
